Study tour to horticultural farms in Arusha

PAPAC secretariat in collaboration with ReSAKSS – ECA, Michigan State University (MSU) policy project, IFPRI and the Tanzania Horticultural Association (TAHA) organised a GIS training workshop for agriculture M&E. The training course was conducted in Arusha from 10th to 15th, August 2015. The training was targeted to technical officials dealing with data collection, analysis and reporting in their day to day work. The aim of the training is to provide the participants with skills to enhance their work and quality of their outputs. The training was combined with a field visit to various horticultural initiatives near Arusha. The aim of field visit was to provide the workshop participants with valuable practical lessons how policy affect the agriculture development and agribusiness. The government of Tanzania has implemented a number of policy reforms in the agriculture sector that have directly benefited horticultural sector.Study tourP1010829P1010816P1010816
